FAQ

Do I need a resource pack?

No. Every block uses the vanilla texture of the terracotta it is made from, so it also matches any resource pack that retextures terracotta.

Does it need to be on the server?

Yes. The blocks are new content, so the server and every player need the mod.

Why can't I cut these blocks in a stonecutter?

Vanilla has no stonecutter recipes for terracotta, and the mod follows that. A datapack can add them. See Adding a stonecutter recipe.

Why did my stairs, slab or wall drop nothing?

Like the terracotta they are made from, they only drop when mined with a pickaxe. Buttons and pressure plates drop with any tool.

Do terracotta walls connect to other walls?

Yes. They connect to every wall in the #minecraft:walls tag, including all vanilla walls and the other terracotta walls.

Why doesn't a sticky piston pull my glazed stairs back?

Glazed terracotta can be pushed but never pulled, and the glazed stairs, slabs and walls keep that behavior.

Is there a config?

No. Recipes, drops and tags are data files, so you can change them with a datapack. See For modpack makers.
