Stairs
Terracotta stairs place and connect like any vanilla stairs: they turn into corner pieces next to other stairs, and you can place them upside down by clicking the top half of a block.

Behavior
Stairs copy the block they are made from:
- Mining: they need a pickaxe to drop, and take as long to mine as the full terracotta block.
- Blast resistance and sounds: the same as the full block.
- Glazed stairs: like glazed terracotta, a piston can push them but a sticky piston cannot pull them back.
Plain, dyed and glazed stairs are all mineable with a pickaxe. Stairs are in the vanilla #minecraft:stairs tag, with one exception listed on the Tags page.
